I started journal writing at the age of eleven and continue to do so today.

As my body and mind aged physically and mentally so have the contents within those journals. From childhood crushes to life’s angst, marriage, divorce, relocation and illness’-my journals are a testament to a life lived.

Life experiences continue to evolve and so has the writing of so many words. A new outlet was in need. Hence this blog, where you’ll find my interpretation on experiences encountered, some understood, others severely questioned and some still out there waiting to be encountered.

Born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York when it was the ‘hood, I came of age in Woodside, Queens, New York. I’ve spent time in other New York State cities as well as a seven year stint on the West Coast.

Right now?

I’m currently back in gentrified Park Slope Brooklyn living with two domestic short hair cats, Tara-Habby and Madeline and a rescued greyhound named Katie.
